04. Website Localization

Website localization is the process of translating and adapting a website from one language into another in order to make it linguistically and culturally suitable for users in a particular local market. Due to factors such as cultural adaptation and double-byte enabling for Mandarin, Japanese and Korean, it involves much more than the simple translation of words.

To localise your website, all you need to do is send us the source files or provide us with access to your website to download it, perform a word count and send you the aggregated data, so that you can select which pages you would like to translate.
05. Transcreation

In contrast to translation, transcreation requires creativity and originality. Translators have to create something new by writing in their own words. Transcreation is usually needed when you want to prepare your company’s product and service profiles, corporate brochures, newsletters, or marketing and advertising materials in English or your mother tongue.

In addition, transcreation is often needed for advertising and marketing materials, as direct translation will only produce awkward and clumsy results. 06. Film and Television Subtitles

Subtitles are a textual record or script of dialogue and commentary in films, television programs, corporate videos, and the like, typically displayed at the bottom of the screen, and sometimes at the top of the screen if there is already text at the bottom of the screen. They can either be the written translation of a dialogue in foreign language, or a written presentation of dialogue in the same language, with or without added information to help viewers who are deaf or who do not understand the language to follow the dialogue.

Subtitles have to be in time with the original sound, except in multilingual countries where broadcasters may have to provide subtitles in additional languages on teletext pages.
07. Multimedia Voice Transcription

Transcription involves our professional translators closely watching your video or listening to your recording, and typing out the speech in the same language it is spoken in, before translating it into English. Very often, a tape will contain several languages, in which case we will try to gather different language experts to produce a complete English transcription in one go, making it convenient for you to use immediately.
